Hi, my name is Emily.

I am a Denver-based educator and learning experience designer specializing in K–12 instructional coaching, curriculum development, and teacher education. My work centers on helping educators deliver clear and meaningful learning experiences that improve student outcomes and professional practice. As a scholar, my research interests lie at the intersection of creativity, educational psychology, and research methods.

Across my roles as a humanities educator and learning experience designer, I’ve developed learning solutions for both students and adults: evidence-aligned curricula, professional learning modules, and instructional systems that make complex ideas accessible. I blend research-informed design and practical classroom experience to support teachers in strengthening pedagogy and aligning instruction to outcomes.

As an emerging scholar in creativity and teacher education, my interests include creativity assessment, metaphor creation, imagination in writing, and reflective practice in pre-service teacher preparation. I’m committed to bridging scholarship and practice to help educators design instruction that not only transfers knowledge but builds creative agency. I am most interested in:
-
K–12 instructional coaching roles
